At age four our founder and president, Joni Stanley, knew that she was not like the other kids in her neighborhood. She watched them playing tackle football, crashing their bikes, falling from trees, and in most cases just jumping up and continuing to play. For Joni, the slightest bump or fall meant days of agony.
As she grew Joni lived with daily pain. Doctors were not able to find any cause for her pain and suggested psychological help. Joni was certain the pain was not in her head so she kept looking for "the cure".
For four decades Joni suffered. In 1990 she was given the diagnosis "fibromyalgia" but that doctor gently said, "I'm sorry. There's nothing I can do to help you." Having a label for all the pain validated Joni's idea she wasn't crazy but it did nothing to help her improve.
After all these years of working in spite of her disabilities, Joni was finally forced to retire early in 2000. This was a devastating blow as she was still determined there had to be something that could heal her pain. It was notable that, even without the stress of working, Joni did not improve during this time.
In 2004, during a particularly stressful winter, Joni discovered Quantum Touch. She attended a workshop to learn this process and there found Quantum Angel healing. From that day Joni's personal healing began. Less than a month after her first healing session she played Bocci, a game that involves hurling heavy balls at a target.
Prior to receiving energy therapy Joni could not pick one of these balls up from a table. Neither could she stand for more than very brief periods nor walk around a lawn. After over twenty years of using many different pain pills and other medications, none of which provided lasting relief, Joni now uses no medications for fibromyalgia or pain.
Joni's improvement was so drastic she has become an ordained minister and a Certified Quantum Angel Practitioner. She has also become a Master Energy Counselor and is eager to bring similar healing to everyone who needs it.
